Aromatic Basting Sauce for Ham and Roast Pork

- 1 ½ cups Clearbrook Farms Red Tart Cherry Preserves
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- ¼ cup vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 2 minutes. Brush generously over ham or port before and during roasting. This is also an excellent basting sauce for chicken and turkey.
Makes about 2 cups sauce.
